I am a behavioural and evolutionary ecologist working at the interface of animal behaviour, ecological genetics, and physiology. We integrate field research with molecular markers and physiological techniques to assess a) the fitness consequences of phenotypic and genotypic variation, and b) factors influencing patterns of gene flow across populations. We do this in both pure and applied contexts, answering theoretical questions and solving problems of conservation relevance.
